Squad Splits Crews to Extricate 2 from Separate Vehicles

In the early hours of Saturday morning, Squad 849 was alerted for the vehicle accident with 1 trapped on Laurel Bowie Road in the area of Powdermill Road. Squad 849 responded on the call with 8 volunteers splitting crews upon arriving on scene to find 2 patients trapped in separate vehicles with one unconcious and heavily pinned. Squad 849 extricated both patients in under 20 minutes and both patients were taken to PG Trauma in critical condition. Squad 849 returned to service in under an hour.
