Trapped in Laurel!

| On Sunday afternoon, 03.30.08. SQ849, A849 and Ch849A, responded to one trapped on Cherry Lane and Baltimore Ave. The trapped victim was rapidly extricated and transported to a local trauma canter. |
Working Fire on Brooklyn Bridge Road
|
In the early morning hours of Saturday 29 March 2008. Units from Company 49 were dispatched for the fire in the single family home in the 7800 block of Brooklyn Bridge Road. RE849, A849, Chief 849 and Chief 849A (as Battalion 6), along with firefighters from four counties battled the blaze for three hours.

MVA With Entrapment – I95
|
Late on March 13, 2008, the Thursday night crew from LVRS was alerted to the report of an accident on I-95 with multiple vehicles and a tractor trailer all overturned with people trapped. Upon arrival it was reported that there was a semi-trailer overturned with potential HAZMAT cargo. Approximately 200 yards north and off the side of the road there was a car overturned with one person trapped. Rescue Squad 49 reported directly to the car and began the extrication. After stabilizing the car, the roof was removed and the patient was packaged for transport. Crews made quick work of the job and were held on the scene until the HAZMAT teams cleared the trailer's cargo. Units on the scene from LVRS included: C849, C849B, RS849, A849. |
