High Speed Chase = 1 Trauma and 1 fully involved |
Wednesday July 19,2006. Rescue Squad 49, A498, Chief 49B and crews from Engine Company 10 were alerted to a vehicle crash with one overturned, on fire, and 1 trapped. Chief 49B arrived on the scene and established the command. The crew from Rescue Squad 49 arrived on scene and utilized the foam/water tank to extinguish the fire and check for occupants of the vehicle. After determining that no one was in the vehicle crews found a single trauma patient who was being chased by US Park police on the side of the road. The ambulance crew treated the patient and packaged him for transport to the hospital. The patient was transported to PG Trauma center with a police escort.
