|July 22, 2017|
It is with great sadness that I publicly announce the recent passing of James "Jimmy" Robison at his home in Georgia.
The family requests everyone's presence for a memorial service on August 13th, 2017 at 12pm at the Laurel Volunteer Fire Department.
I have been in contact with the family liaison, and LVRS will honor with wishes of the family in their time of need.
Chief Robison is known by many in the department as a very caring and honest man that ushered LVRS through it's place in history within the City of Laurel, Prince George's County and all over the United States.
There will be a memorial service at LVFD and we anticipate a large showing in support, as well as the attendance of a large contingent of our life members, former members, and past/present career personnel that worked with Chief Robinson through the years.
Chief Robison will be carried on board Rescue Squad 49 with the entire company units going to Company 10 for the memorial.
We look forward to seeing you all there to celebrate the dedication of Chief Robison and memorialize his life.
