| Operational |
These members
are responsible for the day to day Fire/Rescue/EMS operations of the
organization. Each member is assigned a weekly 12 hour duty
tour (1900 hrs - 0700 hrs). |
| Cadet |
LVRS has a
special membership category for our junior fire fighters designated
as "Cadet." Those members who are between the ages
of 16-17 are designated to this category. Our cadets receive
training in Fire/Rescue/EMS to prepare them for operational duties. |
| Life |
Those members
who have served our organization for twenty (20) years are eligible
for life membership. These members have dedicated their time
and lives to helping our organization and the community we serve.
We thank each and every LIFE MEMBER for their years of dedicated service. |
| Support |
Those members
who serve an administrative role for the organization are designated
as support members. LVRS has both operational and non-operational
support members. |
| Honorary |
LVRS has a
group of members who have in some way contributed to the organization
whether it be monetary, outstanding accomplishments, or those who
are unable to serve. These people are "Honorary" members
of the organization. |
| Associate |
These members
serve the organization in a limited capacity. These members
may not have an interest in the operations of our organization, but
would like to serve some role of helping the members of the Laurel
Volunteer Rescue Squad. |
